I found the Amoun Restaurant a fairly run of the mill restaurant, nothing to get excited about.
They
serve the usual Egyptian and Mediterranean menu of meats, fish, chicken,
rice dishes and pizzas. The food was well cooked, staff were friendly and
prices reasonable. There are certainly better restaurants in Luxor
to while away a pleasant evening but the Amoun restaurant more than acceptable for a lunchtime
meal.

“I’ve just come back from another visit to Luxor. My 14 year old son visited Amoun everyday at luchtime with a friend he had made and was treated extremely well by the staff. We went most evening anf the portions of food have not decreased in any way. The choice was great. Something to please everyone! more “
