7 Days 7 Ways Luxor

Restaurant Reviews

We first tried this Luxor restaurant 3 years ago, on returning last week we
were delighted to see their food and service was still of the same high
standard.  Glad to see they still had the lovely potato skins and garlic
mayonnaise on the menu.  We followed this with Beef Shwarma and my partner
had a steak in a delicious tomato sauce.  Very accommodating, chef did us a
special salad not listed on the menu even though the restaurant was fairly busy.
This Luxor restaurant is licensed and served a reasonable red and white wine at
half the price you can expect to pay back in your hotel.  Whilst not the
cheapest restaurant in Luxor, the food was of a high standard and therefore
value for money.  Two starters and 2 main courses together with a bottle of
wine came to 185LE around the £20 mark.  Well worth adding to your list of
Luxor restaurants to visit.

“My daughter and I have just returned from a week in Luxor and visited 7 days several times during the course of the week. “Food is good, Royal Oak upstairs is good if it is quiet, beer is cheap, quite an English style about it all, but decor is fine. Downside to both the Royal Oak and the restaurant – VERY SMOKEY. “Went here last week, food was good, and service excellent. You can sit upstairs in the bar for a drink whilst you order. The restaurant was clean, and nice and cool in the hot evening.
