After reading a few of the reviews on this site before going we had mixed feelings…. these were soon forgotten by lovely, friendly reception staff – they never stopped smiling which is always very nice to see & very talkative in almost perfect english. We arrived at our room which was very spacious with a balcony etc It was very clean and the maintenance of the room was also good. The Hotel as a whole was very good, a massive pool, lots of sun lounges etc The entertainment staff were very good and could tell they enjoyed what they were doing.

Review: The hotel is situated in the splendid inland area of Costa de Adeje, only 10 minutes’ walk from the beach of Fanabe, with beautiful views of southern Tenerife and the Island of La Gomera. This wonderful Canary-style All Inclusive complex ensures a peaceful and family atmosphere, with activities programmed all day long for those who prefer to enjoy themselves with our lively entertainment team. Its 194 apartments are located in 7 two-storey blocks, surrounded by lush gardens, giving TAGORO · Family & Fun the air of a small holiday village which charms all our guests from the moment they arrive. On the restaurant score it was very spacious and clean but we found the waiting staff to be very rude & ignorant and even had an argument one evening. This however is the only downside to this good hotel… i would recommend this hotel to anyone (Adults, Families, Couples etc). Also just to add, the Thomas Cook reps were very friendly & helped at every opportunity.

Overall an enjoyable holiday!!

Single Travelers Tenerife

Hi I am looking for advice on solo travel to Tenerife for a holiday. I hear Tenerife is ok fos single travelers but I’m worried I will look silly being on my own and whether it’s safe? I hope people won’t judge me? My friend cancelled and I don’t want to lose money and I was also really looking forward to it. Any advice or has anyone traveled on holiday solo? Sound familiar?

A group for solo travelers to meet others is a great idea. Hostels are a good idea too. They have the added advantage of being cheap. Some people are a bit intimidated by the idea that hostels are full of hikers, backpackers, surfers etc., in other words really active people. This is not true of all hostels but a group like this is a great place to find out.
