Domina Coral Bay Prestige Hotel Sharm

Have just returned from a week at the Domina Coral Bay Prestige Hotel, great hotel. We went last year after recommendation and again this year was very pleased with the holiday.
The rooms are very well appointed and are large and all have either a sea view or pool view, either are acceptable. There is two pools associated with the Prestige. The Plasirs restaurant is of a high quality and the food at breakfast is fantastic with a choice of cereal through to pastries and hot freshly cooked items such as pancakes and omelets.
Currently there are few Brits who go here and you will find mainly Italians and Russians who use this hotel.
There is no need to take towels as they provide them both for the pools and the Prestige beach which is only accessable to clients of the hotel.
Domian Coral Bay has a number of hotels within the complex and a variety of restaurants you can use also. There is evening entertainment of a high standard via a permanent dance troop performing a different act each night.
There is a casino and a Suk with many shops in it.
We found all staff helpful and the excellent golf carts that you can take to get around the complex are really useful.
If you are looking for a good quality hotel that is in fact reasonable with excellent facilities then this is recommended.
For someone who rarely goes to the same resort or hotels more than once to have gone back for a second year running is an endorsement in its self.

Disliked On a slight hill that is slightlty steep to walk up but commands a great view as a result

Domina was the biggest resort I have ever stayed at, and I loved it!
Lots of choice, beautiful buildings, great accommodation, and great food.
It felt very secure with lots of security, transport to, and around the complex was plentiful and easy. little “Taff Taff” buses take you around the resort.
There are different areas of the resort that you can stay at with different themes. We stayed in the Sultan, which suited very well for a young couple. There were more expensive, family orientated, or luxury areas which gives you great choice and I’d love to go again and try out the Salt Lake or Harlem areas.
The only downsides were the mosquitos- I’ve never been bitten before, but they really were a problem on this trip for me, and for several other ladies I met so I would advise caution there.
If you go you have to try the snorkelling! It was a bit daunting at first, but amazing and well worth trying!

Concorde El Salam Hotel Sharm

Second time my family have been to the Concorde sport, and it was better than last year!
food is fantastic, I am very fussy and every day there was fresh veg, meat, pasta and fresh pizza made to order. staff can not do enough for you and you can always get a bed by the pool whether you are in a pair or a family of 5.
Have read the negative reports and really do not understand them, these people must have expected to have their bums wipes or something.
We will be going back again next year, before june is best as the russians come after this time for some reason. would reccomend this hotel to absolutley anyone!!

We returned yesterday from a wonderful week at the Concorde Sports. We went to Egypt to chill and relax, and that is exactly what we did.

The room was spacious and clean and overlooked the pool. The housekeeper was very efficient and friendly, and we had a lovely assortment of towel art left for us!

The food was good, with plenty of choice for any sort of diet. The salads were wonderful, with an amazing assortment of bread and dips.

There was a pasta station where the chef would make you a pasta dish of your own (there were also pre made pasta dishes to help yourself to). There was usually a carvery such as turkey, beef etc, and lots of different vegetables.

Chinese, Italian and Egyptian food were all represented too. On Egyptian night in the restaurant please try the hot pudding ‘umali’ as it is gorgeous!

The pool bar is where we had out lunch most days. We had made friends with Emad the head barman there, and the chef who did the cooking at the pool bar Abdallah, so we always got special treatment!

Unlike the very rude, obnoxious Russians who also used the pool bar for lunch. I had to walk away on several occasions as they treated the staff like their personal slaves banging fists on the bar and saying ‘more beer’! Grrr!

Food at the pool bar fresh marinated sea bass, homemade burgers, calamari, chicken, chips, salads all freshly made in front of you wonderful!

The staff in the restaurant were fantastic extremely friendly lots of banter going around and I really couldn’t fault them at all. Look out for Hany who made out stay so wonderful.

We stayed at the Sports side for most of the holiday, and ventured to the main side a couple of times. Seemed a bit crowded over at the main hotel, and busy round the pool and on the beach. The shops in the lobby there were quite good though.

We took travellers cheques with us it was a bit of a bind to change them as they insisted that they have a photocopy of your receipt, traveller’s cheque and passport as they apparently get a lot of fraud.

The reception will copy all this for you though, and just take it all to the bank in the main hotel lobby.

We didn’t go to Naama Bay, although there was a free shuttle bus from the hotel that ran pretty regularly, and some of the guests did make use of this service.

The Sports side does get aircraft noise, but my husband and I really weren’t bothered by it. The Sports is perfect for a relaxing holiday space by the pool, fewer Russians in their thongs and Speedos (yuck), and you can always walk over to the main site if the fancy takes you (or jump on the bus).

We had a day trip to Cairo by plane booked with the local tour operator charm of sharm it was really wonderful
good service and staff
All in all, a wonderful holiday, our first in Egypt, and it certainly won’t be our last to this hotel.

Camel Dive Club and Hotel Sharm

The Camel Drive Club Hotel is everything that all the other (positive) reviewers say and more! I had 3 different rooms (due to my late booking not by any fault of the Camel Hotels) and couldn’t fault any of them I would definitely recommend paying extra for a ‘Superior’ room though as it’s nice having a pool view and balcony/veranda as opposed to just a window with not much of a view. I will not look to stay anywhere else WHEN I return. All the instructors/dive masters were brilliant, sociable and professional as well.

Thanks to the staff of Camel Dive Club in Sharm El Sheikh for heavenly dives.

It was great fun and a true joy to dive with a company so precise and service minded with everything such as time schedules, equipments,safety, boats, and dive sites. The staff are excellent and they really seem to love their everyday job. To be a customer in such a well organized company with so precise methods of working feels really safe and at the same time very relaxing, because you don’t need to worry about anything. It takes a great amount of work and a lot of smooth background organization skills from the Camel Dive Club so that the customers get the sense of well-being, this is what Camel Dive is good at!

We had several spectacular dives every day we dived and the atmosphere on board the boats was as good as everything else, GREAT!
Just to give you a picture of the service level we had on board We were diving in one of the worlds finest dive site called Shark and Yolanda (the reefs were amongst Jack Cousteau’s top ten dives sites) with a young couple who had their baby on board as well, the deal was that one of the parent would stay on surface and take care of the baby. Anyway, the Egyptian crew who is very fond of children, told the parents not to worry , they will take care of everything.. and so happened. When we came back from the mind thrilling dive the “babysitting” crew had given the baby milk and was playing around with her Could anybody expect more ??

I give Camel Dive Club the highest rank for their work and friendly way of treating customers, I hope to dive with them soon again.
