Hotel Aqua Blu Sharm

We have just returned from 7 nights in the Aqua Blu Sharm hotel and had the best time ever! The hotel facilities are fantastic. The hotel is very clean, the food was really nice, a real mixture of international cuisine, but of course the catered for the Brits that couldnt live without chips!! They make there own bread in the cave du roi restaurant which is to die for.

We had no problems getting rings for the slides, as the lifeguards would make sure you handed the ring to the next person as you exited them. We also didnt see any problems with the Russians, as long as you avoid the rush for meal times, you dont have to fight for a table.

The evening entertainment was hilarious as it was soooooo bad! But we still managed to laugh, especially when they performed lord of the dance. a show not to be missed, for all the wrong reasons!!!
We did tip some of the hotel staff, only because they went out of there way to make sure our holiday was enjoyable, and we didnt begrudge handing over £1 at a time, its nothing really to us Brits.
We didnt go in to Namma Bay, as we had been there last year, but we did go to Old Market we got some fab bargains, after haggling.
We didnt find the hassle bad, we just had a laugh with the shop sellers, or said no thanks!
We booked quad biking and cairo, but not through the hotel or our rep, as they were expensive. we went to a company called sharm club, who were really good. they even did us a return transfer for £20.. bargain
I would recommend this hotel to anyone, but if you want a resort that is just English people that serves English food then you need to go to Spain!

We spent a week of the Easter Holidays at Aqua Blu and had a fantastic time.

The main things I would have wanted to know about his holiday are

1) Little or no queues on the slides even in the school holidays
2) Fantastic variety of slides from toddler slides to different types of bigger slides
3) Plenty of life guards
4) Plenty of food the children liked inc very good pizza and pasta
5) We did not get upset tummies
6) Beach is not Sandy
7) Snorkling is great
8) If you book independently there are plenty of taxis at the airport and it costs about 100 Egyptian pounds to Aqua Park
9) Normal pools are also very nice and some quiet
10) There are shops within park and just outside
11) It is all about the slides, little else available at the hotel. No use was made of the tennis courts or mini golf by anyone in fact there were no clubs for mini golf
12) Rooms and locations of rooms vary, if you are not happy the hotel manager will move you. (Our room was near the evening entertainment, it was a great location next to toddler park and pools but not for us we moved after the first night)
13) Hotel is clean, gardens perfectly maintained
14) We were not bothered by mosquitoes only a couple of bites, but we did use repellent
15) Hotel supplies pool towels

If you or your children like water parks this is a great break for you. We have never before had the luxury of being able to go on so many slides so many times. It was slightly busier around the middle of the day, having to wait behind up to ten people, so we avoided these times.

We have done All Inclusive before and food was not as good as some others but I think it was because they catered for lots of nationalities. However, some of the food was excellent. We particularly loved the Skewered meat and made to order pasta sauces.

We did not do any excursions so cannot comment on these but it did mean we were ready to come home after a week.

We would go there again, not for an adventure or culture but for some sun, a rest and happy children.

Me and my 10 year old twins have just come back from aqu blu sharm, we had a great time we only had the week there and the kids loved it the room was clean and the food was ok this was our first visit to egypt and we would definetly go back again.

My husband and I have just returned from a 2 week stay at this amazing hotel. This being our first visit to Egypt we did not know what to expect, we need’nt have worried. Baron Palms Resort had the WOW factor. Outstanding staff, food and location. We were spoilt for choice when it came to the selection for food. The egyptian restaurant was excellent and the poolside restaurant in the evening was a beautiful and romantic experience, staff and food were wonderful. All the staff made you feel special and could’nt do enough to make our stay special. Well done to all staff and management concerned in the running of this wonderful place.

Spent 2 weeks at Baron Palms with family and friends (seven of us in total) and enjoyed every bit of our holiday, House cleaners were brilliant.. bar staff and customer service were excellent, nothing was too much trouble at all. Snokelling was out of this world Jelly belly is something you can,t avoid and its nothing to do with the food, everyone in our group had it but it only took either a trip to the chemist for some tablets or dealt with it. It was more to do with the heat at nearly 40 degrees.
You do get hassled at the beginning of your holiday by either shop owners or on the beach trying to get you to have a massage or spa treatments but all you have to say is NO THANKYOU they do leave you alone eventually. I had a massage in the beach tent was brilliant had a full hour for £6 approx well worth it.
Bar staff on the beach were great and in the Lobby Bar aswell we didn’t tip them till the end of the holiday, very freindly and helpful, you could have anything you liked in drinks from soft drinks to hot drinking chocolate or any of there local alcoholic drinks and SOME cocktails. Food was good too can’t complain about a thing. Didn’t want to come back home. Will be taking another holiday back there in the future. There is only one thing I could moan about and that is maybe they need more seating area on an evening but it didn’t spoil our holiday.

First visit to Egypt and hotel was fab. Staff very friendly, cheerful, efficient. Spotlessly clean. Excellent food. Did a 9 night stay, which suited us just fine. Beach spotless. Didnt venture too far as wanted to chill. Hotel rather remote, but resort is reclaimed desert with no traditional inhabitants, except Beduins. Good snorkelling at beach and no need to venture any further to see wonderful fish. Would return to hotel, and I don’t do return trips !
Just 1 criticism, evening entertainment was poor.

Baron Palms Hotel, best hotel in sharm by far. Service is second to none, the staff are amazingly helpful, polite, courteous, respectful and totally professional. Cant fault this place at all. One waiter by the name of Taher in the paradise pool bar is a must to go and see. Man that guy would show up ANY waiter or host in the whole of England. If you want a holiday that is exceptionally clean, very peaceful, totally relaxed and wonderful then this is the place to go to. Thanks to all at Baron Palms for a wonderful holiday. best ever!!!

Following the chaos we experienced on arrival at Sharm airport, we were welcomed into a haven of calm and peace. From arrival to departure our every need was looked after.
The room was clean and comfortable, although the view could have been better. The food in the buffet restaurant was good, but the real treat was the a-la-carte meal in the Candlelight Restaurant. The staff were friendly courteous and helpful. We were particularly impressed by Emily from the Guest Relations desk who seemed to genuinely care that you were looked after and having a good time, and who was available and happy to help should you need her.
The sunloungers around the pool were comfortable and the pools and pool area clean and well looked after.
If you are looking for a relaxing holiday where you will be looked after in comfortable clean and luxurious surroundings, you can’t go wrong with Baron Palms Resort.

A very relaxing holiday. The Baron Ralms Resort was welcoming from the beginning, being met by the reception manager, the check in was very efficient and we were shown to our pool view room. Our first impression of the restaurant was good with very friendly waiters who served with a smile. The food was buffet style with plenty of choice for all tastes, lovely variety of breads we had homemade soups every meal, but the sweet display was really outstanding, the tiny china dishes and glassware that contained just a taste of different desserts( which meant you could have 2 or 3) were to be congratulated.
As previously mentioned the hotel was the cleanest we have been to.
The beach area was never really busy we could always get a couple of beds in good positions, the staff very attentive and after a couple of days bought refills without being asked.
The pontoons out across the coral have to be done to see the variety of fish without having to snorkel.
Suggestions ; more seating outside for drinks after dinner and better shops (possibly a boutique and a shop selling the china used for the sweets)
All in all a good break and we will return.

Ghazala Beach Hotel Sharm

We stayed at the Ghazala Beach on a bed and breakfast basis for a week and I couldn’t fault this hotel. The environment was absolutely wonderful, the staff were so helpful and the location couldn’t be better. Ghazala Beach is set in the heart of Naama Bay, so the restaurants, shops and beach were all almost roll out of bed distance (but far enough away for it to be tranquil in the grounds.
We wanted a really relaxing environment, and the Relax Pool area was a big hit with me and my partner. The main pool area was great too, but the relax pool was quieter, great to read and sip drinks by.
Our room was lovely, with a pretty balcony overlooking gardens, and it was nice and comfortable with all the facilities we needed great comfy bed, safe, TV, mini bar.
The only thing I would say is that as its so hot, you need to drink gallons of water throuhout the day, and this is best bought in nearby shops to the hotel, and costs about 2.5 Egyptian Pounds, instead of the 14 the hotel would charge you for a 2 litre bottle.
Also nearby Danadeer Steak and seafood restaurant is a MUST!

Just returned from 1 week at Ghazala Beach. Briefly the location is lovely, just a few minutes from Naama Bay, Staff really friendly but food fairly average. Not the nicest hotel I’ve stayed in but not the worst. Could I recommend this hotel to others, definitely not, I’ve been told there are far better hotels in Sharm and we shall certainly try one of them next time.

There is one reason that this is the best hotel in Sharm and that is the beach. Let me explain. All of the hotels in Sharm have a small stretch of private beach. The one at Eden Rock is special because it has its own patch of coral reef. That means that the moment that you step out into the water you are surrounded by shoals of beautiful tropical fish. The other bigger luxury hotels don’t have this. It was just stunning and was the highlight of my holiday.

The hotel was quiet and tranquil. Good for families or couples and thankfully absent of mobs of partygoers. The rooms were adequate (sea view and walkout onto the pool) The service was fantastic, we fell in love with our cleaner. The food was pretty terrible but it seemed like that pretty much everywhere in Sharm. The pool was clean and we usually had it to ourselves. Its at the top of a cliff so stunning views over the red sea and the sinai but a bit of a walk down to town so elderly/disabled people might struggle.

I was staying in single room, I was traveling alone. The room was large and clean. The staff is very polite. The food was delicious. (HB). This hotel is on hill and has beautiful view of Neama Bay. I made new friends, I went snorkling on the trip to island Tiran twice and Ras Muhammed and near Neama bay. I recommend the firm of boats “Cinderella” or “Cesarella”and the boat with manager Alex the best and the funniest!!! (through the streets trip agency “Luna Rossa”. I was diving, windsurfing, went to sea in a catamaran. The best instructor of catamaran and windsurfing is Zizu (Sport at the beach). I went to Cairo it`s interesting but difficult long trip. Ididn’t like discos in Neama bay much. I had a very nice holliday and was happy. I wish U same!!!!
