We went to the hotel for our honeymoon and thought the hotel was fantastic. Very quiet and clean. Our room was upgraded on arrival from a courtyard view to a pool view. We booked all inclusive which, upon arrival, was not the same as we had been told. When we booked we were advised we could use all themed restaurants once during our stay. This was not the case, you are only able to use the Jolie Bistro once, all other meals have to be taken in the buffet restaurant,pool bbq,sundowner bar and beachcomber bar. We found most staff very friendly,more so at the main pool area than the Royal Wing. Also the staff in the Ascot bar seemed very off at times. We would definately stay at the hotel again as it is very quiet and excellent for anyone looking for a chilled out holiday.

Be very wary of taxis as many people have already mentioned. We used a taxi to get from Naama Bay back to the hotel and driver quoted us 50 LE (approx £5) which we thought was acceptable. Once we were in the car and driving, driver changed price to 50 LE each,we told him 70 was all we had and gave him that but he still insisted on a 10 LE tip which he never got

Most fab place I’ve been. We stayed in the Jolie Ville Golf and Resort Hotel and we were so well looked after,the views are great and we went snorkling and quad biking through the dessert which is a must, we went in June and it was quite hot but you wouldnt really notice it in the hotel as the air con was brill. All in all we had a brilliant experience in sharm and I cant wait to go back, oh ya its so so cheap over there too.

I have just returned from my third visit to Sharm and the Maritim Jolie Ville Golf and Resort Hotel. This hotel is perfect for me in every way; the staff are outstandingly helpful and courteous, the rooms spacious, the grounds beautiful and the pool/sea area perfect. Every traveller has a different reason for choosing a holiday destination and for me the Maritim Golf enables me to unwind and completely relax in stunning surroundings. Don’t imagine by coming to this area that you will be immersed in Egyptian culture, to find this you need to go elsewhere. However, you will find a warm welcome, good food (fully inclusive is a good option as food and drinks are expensive otherwise) and fantastic snorkelling on the hotel’s own reef. I will be returning again next February.
