Hotel Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh

Great experience for a one week beach holliday with our 1 + 3 year old children. The Four Seasons Resort hotel is very beautiful and well maintained, interesting mix of people, very nice rooms with lovely balcony. We enjoyed a lot the great room service and we do not share the complains about the high prices: Seen the quality and friendliness of stuff it is well worth it. The sea is fantastic to swim, beach is ok, but for my taste a little packed with chairs, which adds to the entertainment for watching and speaking with other guests. The children loved the little train taking you to the beach. Best of all in my opinion the service, all very friendly and helpful, children very are welcome.

The Four Seasons Resort has excellent service. The people who work here are always most courteous, friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean and the men who service them are excellent. For us, the beds are too soft and not comfortable but I see that other people mention they like them like this. The food, as has been mentioned, is very expensive and it is biased towards the middle eastern taste in the main restaurant. For us, the Italian restaurant was the best on offer as our children didn’t really enjoy the middle eastern buffets. It is worth avoiding wine with your meals as this is vastly overpriced. My husband enjoyed the dive centre very much and said that the people there were very good indeed for both adults and children. However, it is expensive here.The problem with this destination is that, if you don’t dive/snorkel there is very little to do. The resort could, and should, put on some activities for people who don’t dive. The programme of activities on offer is very limited. It’s great though if you enjoy sunbathing and want guaranteed sunshine.

Just come back from a week in the resort with our two teenage sons. We’ve stayed in a lot of luxury resorts over the years and this is the best. Everything is of a very high standard service, accommodation, food, dive centre, pools, grounds.

It’s obviously not cheap but it the quality makes it good value for money (even allowing for the plummeting pound!)

Hotel Iberotel Club Fanara and Residence Sharm

Iberotel Club Fanara and Residence is sited at about the best position in Sharm El Sheikh. The hotel staff have to be the best in Egypt, nothing is too much bother for anyone from the lowest to the highest employee. The rooms are spacious and cleaned thoroughly every day. The food in the 3 restaurants is wonderful, and varied for every taste. Would highly recommend a visit.

Although a little more expensive than some hotels in Sharm the Fanara was worth every cent. The welcome on arrival set the scene for a very enjoyable holiday for 4 English ladies out for a bit of sun, sea, sand and cocktails. Every member of staff was pleasant and helpful. The rooms were spotless and changed every day. The food was very good, plentiful, varied and beautifully presented. Not one of us had an upset stomach although we were particularly careful with hand washing and used alcohol gel before eating or handling any food. We all enjoyed a massage and other pampered treats. One thing that did annoy us was the reserving of sunbeds with a towel and then not using them until later in the day. We had a few days of struggling to find enough beds and a place to put them. The pool staff helped to find extra beds but it was irritating that people can be so selfish. The German and Russian visitors were persistantly rude and ill mannered towards all the staff and other holiday makers which really angered me.
A day trip out to Cairo to the Pyramids was brilliant and the hotel provided breakfast at 3am and provided an evening meal in the room for your arrival back to the hotel. All in all it was a fabulous holiday and would definately reccommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Sharm El Sheikh away from the main towns. Thank you to all the staff and your wonderful smiles x

Stayed in the residence part- only 5 to 10 mins walk to beach.
3 different restuarants to chose from- all are buffet style, with lots on offer.
Pools are very good and sun loungers can be found all day.
Beach is amazing. Reef has lots of varieties of fish. You can hire snorkels and a digital camera for the sea from the on-site dive shop. Recommend to go to the beach before 9am to get a choice of sun loungers.
Staff are very pleasent and always on hand to help.

Taxi to airport using the hotel taxi service is £15.

Very clean. Very attentive, friendly staff.
Rooms were a good size. Great beach-front jetty where you can go snorkeling or watch the tropical fish from above.
The week we were there the guest ratio was 85% Italian, 5% russian, 5% german, 5% British.
Breakfast buffet was huge. (fruit, cereal, pastries, cooked foods)
Inclusive lunch consisted of salad, pizza, fries and wurstel.
We ate most dinners in Nama bay or the Old Market.( 10 min cheap cab ride arranged by front desk)
The hosts will most likely try to sell you spa treatments or water activities on the first day. They are harmless.
Ideal location for families.
A charged internet service is available in rooms via cable or in computer room
Perfect if you want to spend your time suntanning and chilling out.
The gym has limited machines and weights.
The weather was perfect. Warm days, cooler nights.
The only downside was that you couldn’t get a decent cocktail.
Not much to do at resort at night if you were single(s)

This was our second visit to the Iberotel Grand Sharm and it didn’t disappoint. As with our first visit, the place was spotlessly clean, All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The buffet for lunch and dinner was superb, there were always several excellent dishes available to suit most tastes. Pasta cooked to you’re liking, with you’re choice of flavours was my particular favorite. Breakfast was equally as good with eggs/omelletes cooked fresh to order, an amazing selection of breads and pastries, youghurt and fresh fruit as well as cereal and cooked meats etc.

Our room was very spacious and had a nice view down towards the pool bar and beach.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone. This was definately not our last visit !

We stayed at the hotel a week ago during our honeymoon. Our opinion is that this hotel is the most beautiful hotel we have ever seen. Not only because of the hotel itself but because of the staff there, the beach, beautiful coral reef, wonderfull food (we fell in love with your deserts) and towel surprises that we found in our room every day. The employees are wonderfull, singing and dancing all the time, ALWAYS smiling and always at your disposal. If you want to stay in a frendly enviroment, full of warm people, relax and have fun this is the place for you. See you next year.

Hotel Iberotel Lido Sharm

Iberotel is one of the best locations in Sharm El Sheikh, a wonderful retreat for romatic couples, great atmosphere, wonderful view and outstanding service. Very friendly and helpful staff, large rooms with great view over the bay plus a very nice deck pool on top floor. Food is excellent, either the buffet restaurant or a la carte, with beautiful setting and view over the sea. The Naama Bay shopping centre is within walking distance (5 minutes walk) very alive area during the night with discos, restaurants, open air cafe bars and terraces and lots of shops.
Iberotel is the best boutique hotel in Sharm. Highly recommended!

They locals told us Iberotel Lido is one of the best hotels in Sharm and I would agree.

Couldn’t fault the hotel.

Lovely little hotel, helpful and friendly staff ,right on the beach, 2 min walk to the bars and restaurants of Namma Bay.

We recently stayed at Ghazala Gardens and I can honestly say that we could not have chosen a better place in Sharm El Sheikh. It was within 2 minutes walk from Naama Bay (literally across the road) and on one of our first days there we saw their sister hotel Ghazala Beach, which paled in comparrison. We also did a city tour excersion and saw a few other places which looked very dated with tiny swimming pools.

Ghazala gardens has amazing swimming pools, the main one wraps around one the the main bars. The resort also boasts it’s own man made beach which is great, but be careful because it can really burn the soles of your feet. It is extremely warm there at this time of the year.

I thought the food was amazing. I know some people won’t agree, but there was plenty to choose from and I honestly could not complain. The breakfast pastry selection is to die for.

Our air conditioning was not working properly in our room, but once we told them they sorted it out immediatley. Also, the cleaners of the room only tend to make you towel decorations if you tip them, but this was not an issue for us. It is recommended that you tip once at the beginning of your stay and then again once at the end.

We highly suggest you do a quad biking excersion as it is AMAZING!!!! A two our bike ride around the dessert and a cup of tea with the desert nomad people.

Be careful not to leave your balcony or terrace door open, especially at night as it tends to attract mosquitos! Make sure you take some insect repelant and spray yourself before going to sleep at night if you are prone to bites.
Also take plenty of sunscreen because as I mentioned, it is really hot and I am used to the african heat. It even got a bit too much for me at the end.

If you do go out into Naama Bay then please note that you will be hassled a lot, especially if you go into the shops. They don’t quite know how to take no for an answer and like to take the micky out of the various international accents. Luckily for me I am South African, so they could not mimick mine, but for my boyfriend who is Irish it was a very different story. The men also like to hit on the women, regardless of whether or not they have a boyfriend and this goes for a hotel staff as well.

Be warned that there don’t seem to be any road rules in Egypt and cross the road can be a rather challenging experience. Also I find it helps if you do not look out the window while driving anywhere. It’s quite frightening.

I would also like to thank Mohammed who worked behind the Mango bar during the day. He served us with endless cocktails which we enjoyed in the pool most days.

Overall I loved very minute in this resort and I cannot wait to go back. The resort is so good you may not even want to wander out into the rest of Sharm El Sheikh.

I stayed in the Ghazala Gardens hotel with my husband and two children last year and thought that it was no longer on sale to British customers. My husband spotted it advertised in the Sunday paper last week and to my delight we’ve been able to book it again for Christmas next year.

The location and standards of the Ghazala Gardens are the best we’ve come across in Sharm. The hotel is really plush and all the shops and bars are just across the road. We must have saved £100 in taxis.

The kids loved the Italian Buffet bar which was right beside the pool beach. I don’t think my husband and youngest would have moved from their sun beds all week if I hadn’t made them. I preferred wandering down to the seafront at the Ghazala Beach across the road where we could use the buffet restaurant at lunchtimes and there was an All Inclusive bar just for our use.

The rooms were quite big and kept clean. I noticed some that lead straight into the pool, but I expect they were more expensive. To be honest the rooms we had were quite good enough anyway.

I am so pleased we can go back.
